Korin Catnip This is one of the best pairs of songs I think I've ever heard.
"What We Can Do" has a fantastic chorus, but the entirety of "Letting Go" sounds like someone put The Cult into a speed-filled echo chamber.
Hope to hear more! Favorite track: Letting Go.

You might be a genius Laboring in obscurity, unsung but determined You might be a guru More power to you All we need are fresh ideas Nerve and drive and humility (Burning daylight)  Think of all you have to offer  We turn no hands away  Bring your talents and your aptitudes Big ideas to convey We depend upon each other In this unprecedented time Let's collaborate together  To improve the world we share It's amazing what we can do  If we just put our heads together You might be a genius  Wading through the quagmire of an insoluble conundrum You might be a guru  More power to you  No matter your forte, sir or madame, you are welcome (Burning daylight)  We depend upon each other  Collective sparks will be stoked All for integration An Interdisciplinary approach No woman or man is an island  No woman or man is an island At the atomic level, we co-mingle constantly Don't be afraid to get in touch It's amazing what we can do  If we just put our heads together

Letting Go 04:41
I bolt up before dawn Chunk of ice in my heart I had that dream again The one where everything ends After the empire falls I'll miss you most of all And my limousine That I've never seen I got a crystal ball Future so bright Fell asleep to a record Cars crash in the night Time keeps running out And I can't shake this doubt I'm losing all I know Getting ready to let go In the here and now The record spun out I hear a voice in my dream I wake up with a scream Sit on the fire escape Cold at daybreak I try not to forget How you got so wet Under a banner of fire In the yammer of time It's all empty and bright Cars crash in the night Time keeps running out And I can't shake this doubt I'm losing all I know Getting ready to let go Pardon me friends, but I gotta move fast I bought a little time but it ain't gonna last Body good looking but the limousine's smashed And living for tomorrow is a thing of the past My old man said the first will be last Don't bother me friends, just step on the gas I don't wanna dawdle, I won't be tied to the mast Because living for tomorrow is a thing of the past Monuments built to honor my works Now I'll get the recognition I so richly deserve All my predictions will one day come to pass But living for tomorrow is a thing of the past
